paglilihi

i got lucky in this area. i don’t make anybody in our house go crazy by looking for red mangoes or sweet lemons. but i do have cravings, a lot of them. and they differ from day to day. one moment i’d be wishing for the porkchop i ate when i was an intern nung PT years, and i know it is impossible to go to manila and back just to bring me the damned food. yup, the porkchop i want is in caloocan, yung carenderia sa may MCU to be precise. next moment, i’m craving for the yummy fried chicken sa angeles, pampanga and the coleslaw that usually accompanies it. of course, angeles is too far from naga, but what the hell, leave me alone to dream about the taste! i know naman na it’s very impractical to indulge that urge. i may be pregnant, but i’m not crazy to demand those things…but really, the taste…gaaahhhh!!!

but for those cravings that i do have that are possible to obtain, i love my burgers and my chocolate munchkins (dapat chocolate lang, no other flavors for me and kulas! hehehe). i also love my C2s, apple to be exact. gords tells me not to drink it ta ang preservatives daa and

the fact na bawal na sainda mag patronize ng beverages made by rival companies. C2 happens to be a pepsi product, and gords is an account developer for coke. i keep telling him it’s what kulasito wants, but he tells me it is what I WANT. he’s right though…hehehe. but i’m a good wife, i have since switched to nestea.

lala, my little sister, tells me na the cravings daw are what the baby needs for its development. for example, i went through a stage na i wanted to eat liver. siguro i lack iron, hence, the craving. i also find myself eating vegetables although i don’t normally eat them. i’m carnivorous, and i love my meat, but vegetables are vegetables, and kulasito needs it, so who am i to argue, eh?

so, who buys me all my cravings? bo and lala. every time bo leaves for the bank, he always ask me kung anong gustong kakanon kang bados. i also text lala to bring me what i want to eat or drink before she comes home from school. ang role ni mae? deejay and mae bring me to my OB appointments. hay, ang swerte ni gords! pero, come weekend, dyan ako nagbabawi. i’m preparing myself and kulasito for a sisig-and-calamares weekend!
